VMware Player is a program which allows you to run multiple virtual machines on your operating system and easily juggle them. For example, you can have Windows XP installed on top of your Windows. I have created a.vhd file using disk2vhd that contains my system disc (a Windows 7 installation). I would like to create a VM using VMware Player from this image, but I have been unable to do so. Can anyone help me? Many thanks, Mike. It is with great pleasure that we are able to announce the immediate availability of VMware Workstation 15.5 Pro and Player! Our major release this year comes as a free upgrade for existing version 15 customers, with upgrade discounts available for v12 and v14 customers. If VMware Workstation 15.5.5 or newer is run on a Windows host where Hyper-V and/or VBS is enabled, VMs will be launched using Windows Hypervisor Platform technology. VMs will fail to launch if the release version of this technology is not at a particular level, or if the Windows host hardware does not meet certain minimum requirements.
